When Golf, Leadership, and Faith Meet

Recently C3 Leaders hosted a Golf Tournament at Sahalee Country Club and golfers were asked to give their view of golf and leadership. C3 Leaders mission is leaders encouraging leaders to live and lead like Jesus. One friend recently mentioned that his golf coach said that he needed to develop a new swing and leave the old swing behind. After hitting poorly on one particular drive he asked his coach, “What did I do wrong?” The coach said, “That was your old swing and it will always be there but you need to cultivate the new swing so it is your new habit.” Old swing, old life, new swing, new life. It sounds a lot like the Apostle Paul encouraging disciples, to take off the old man and to put on the new man (Ephesians 4:24).
