Jeff Davis

Founder, Davis Door Service

Jeff was born in Michigan and moved to the Northwest when he was 5 years old. Growing up on Mercer Island, graduating from Mercer Island High School where he met his future wife, Nancy. After High School, Nancy went on to college and Jeff continued working in his father’s business, Overhead Door of Seattle, working from the age of 5 until his father closed it at the end of 1981. That is when Jeff and his wife Nancy started Davis Door Service, in January of 1982. Not the best business environment but with untold hours of hard work and committed staff the company grew to 5 offices including a Portland branch which was closed after 4 years due to our inability to hire additional staff and our other branches were so busy it made more sense to bring our people back from Portland. Nancy and Jeff have two children, both are married, a son and daughter and a total of 5 grandchildren. Jeff has served on several Boards over the years and is currently serving on the Board of a Cosmeceutical company in Boise, Idaho named Episciences. Davis Door Service, Inc. today has 6 branch locations including a Manufacturing branch for our custom doors and gates. Jeff has retired and their son now owns and operates the company. Many years of bible studies, church volunteering, teaching Sunday School and as an adult leader on life changing youth mission trips as well as his C3 group, keeps Jeff in the word.
