C3 LEADERS JOB DESCRIPTION 
JOB TITLE:  Senior Advisor 

MINISTRY:  C3 Leaders DEPT:  Admin 

REPORTS TO:  President 

SUPERVISES:  None

GENERAL SUMMARY:  Senior Advisor(s) is a volunteer role. These experienced, proven C3 Leader sages will serve our mission by caring for our C3 Forum roster. They will be a strong, positive advocate/evangelist/cheerleader for C3 Leaders and the C3 Forum. They will work to strengthen mission engagement and action. Senior Advisor(s) will serve in a pastoral capacity offering helping gifts to those in our C3 Forums. Furthermore, they may even serve as mentors or coaches to the C3 Leaders’ family. Finally, they will offer quality assurance by listening on behalf of the mission and attending C3 Forums, as they are able. Senior Advisors(s) will increase retention and engagement by offering tangible benefit to those in our C3 Forums. 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

JOB DUTIES  % of Total Work 
Pastoral Care for the C3 Forum roster. 

  • Friend available to those in our C3 Forums.  
  • Active listener, discovering the felt needs of our roster. 
  • Willing to reach out to those in our market that are in a challenge, offering them care and support. 
  • Strong EQ, able to discern when to lean in and when to not. 
  • Willing to set up meetings. 
  • Initiate meetings even to cold leads. 
  • Goals on front-end inputs – phone calls and emails made to generate potential meetings. 
  • Careful attention to all those that show interest – warm leads. 
  • Immediate follow-up 
  • Offer boutique-level care  
  • C3 Forum Chairs and the President will advise of potential opportunities, meetings, and needs.  
  • Consistently provide spiritual leadership. 
  • Pray and listen to the Lord on behalf of our roster. 
  • During meetings, initiate prayer with people.   
  • Work with President on care plans and referrals, when needed. 
  • Maintain discretion and trust by keeping discussions confidential.

Coaching or mentoring of those in our C3 Forum roster 

  • Available to those in a C3 Forum that are interested in mentorship or coaching. 
  • Offer authoritative advice that is valued by the roster, bringing a mix of spiritual and business knowledge. 
  • Constant process improvement to fit with mission priorities and market realities.

Quality Assurance 

  • Process feedback and input in one-on-one meetings. 
  • As able, attend C3 Forums as a guest of the C3 Forum Chair 
  • Provide President with potential improvements or ideas. 
5% 
Advocate for the mission of C3 Leaders. 

  • A Senior Advisor will be a positive force in our mission and marketplace, speaking well of others and the work of C3 Leaders. 
  • Promotion of C3 Events among C3 Forum roster. 
  • Attend community events on behalf of C3 Leaders. 
  • As an evangelist for C3 Leaders, attend meetings with the purpose of having meaningful conversations about others potential engagement with C3 Leaders. 
  • Work to recruit new C3 Forum participants. 
  • Listen for, collect, and create testimonies from roster. 
5% 
General mission responsibilities 

  • Assist with planning and implementation of C3 Events. 
  • As available, be involved with other staff in EOS/Traction during Level 10 meeting. 
  • Write blog and email content as needed. 
  • Strong follow-up, i.e., action steps and thank you notes. 
  • Work with President on fund development for mission. Help in increasing the percentage of C3 Forum roster giving Minimal Annual Contribution. 
  • Provide your own administrative care – scheduling, receipts, mileage, and expense reports.

Work collaboratively with supervisors, coworkers, roster and donors.   
Perform other duties as assigned.   

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:  None 

 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS 

(Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education and Experience) 

 

  1. Christian Commitment
    • A mature Christian that demonstrates a Christ-honoring life and resume 
    • Agreement and support of C3 Leaders’ Statement of Faith 
    • Converse intelligently and graciously about issues of faith 
    • Demonstrate Christian spirituality by participating, leading, and contributing to office devotional and prayer times 
  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education or equivalent. Relevant work experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis
  1. Experience:  A proven track record of leadership experience
  1. Licensure/Certification: none
  1. Software and Equipment Used: Microsoft Office Suite
  1. Other Considerations:   
    • Highly organized, strong interpersonal and communication skills – both oral and written; keen judgment skills; high degree of professionalism 
    • A warm and engaging customer-first attitude and demeanor  
    • Possess an articulate passion for C3 Leaders’ mission 
    • Able to work collaboratively and positively with supervisor, coworkers, and donors. 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

(Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education and Experience) 

  1. Education: MBA or Seminary degree from an accredited college or university.
  1. Experience:
    • Twenty years of business management/leadership experience.  
    • A proven track record of growing people. 
    • Ministry experience, vocationally or as a volunteer, with proven success and solid references.

  1. Software and Equipment Used: ChurchCenter CRM; Subsplash App, WordPress, QuickBooks
