C3 desires to provide resources for our community that shape and shift your leadership journey. Ward Tanneberg is a part of our community as well as an author, and blogger. We thought you would want to take a look at what he is doing and consider his invitation to subscribe.
I LEAD A C3 FORUM
All business and professional guys, successful leaders in their own right. For over eleven years we’ve hung together every Wednesday, and now and then, someone new joins in with us. We listen, we watch, we share, we pray. We keep it simple. You know how it works because you’re in a C3 Leader FORUM, too. We learn a lot from one another about triumphs and disappointments, love and other relationships, calm and crises, and best of all, about how to live and work and play a little more like Jesus than we used to.
THE REASON I BLOG
As an author, I write fiction and in other genres as well, but my specific target with PERSPECTIVE the blog, is the man or woman who after leading, selling, organizing the office, or a hard day on the road, must care for myriad other responsibilities, too. The real person, the inner life, the ordinary. The spouse. The children still at home and the adult children of aging parents. The everyday spiritual journey we are all on. The not so simple life.
“I’ve followed you for a while now, off and on,” writes David D, a denominational church leader in Indiana,“first connecting with you in a post on Facebook. The thing that got my attention is you are a widower. My wife died six years ago. The other thing that drew me to you is your age.
“Time passed, eventually I remarried, and we began seeking God for our future. I resigned my job and we are now newly appointed missionaries, focused on developing Christian leaders on the continent of Africa.
“I am only 58 years old—but I want to be an old guy like you! I hope you don’t take offense at the way I put that! Perhaps someday we can connect while trying to figure out the successive next steps in my life. For now, I just wanted to let you know, you encouraged someone.”
