SUPERVISES: Intern (When Applicable)

GENERAL SUMMARY: Office Administrator includes a number of small responsibilities that sum up to general office operations for the organization. This includes supporting the President, event assistance, social media management, first contact with interested members, and proofreading. This will be an hourly role with approximately 15 hours a week but may vary based on events.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

JOB DUTIES  % Total Work 
Serves as assistant to the President (avg. 7 hours per week) 

  • Scheduling of meetings – staff and other key meetings 
  • Proofreading in a timely and accurate manner. 
  • Ensure President has supplies and materials for daily ops 
  • Available for general questions when President is remote 
  • Prepare regular reports for President 
  • Managing voicemail 
  • Managing email

Event Assistance (avg. 4 hours per week) 

  • Work with staff and consultants to provide top-notch events 
  • Online registration set up and management (ChurchCenter) 
  • Coordination of details – bids, locations, banquet, supplies, lighting/sound, photos, video, etc. 
  • Day of event set up and tear down 
  • Lead in actual event operations and volunteers

Social Media Management (avg. 4 hours per week) 

  • Designs post and adds them to Buffer 
  • Builds and posts social reels and other video work 
  • Managies social media strategy

Work collaboratively with supervisors, coworkers, and donors.   
Perform other duties as assigned.   

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:  Possibly a part-time student intern 

 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Christian Commitment: 
  • A mature Christian that demonstrates a Christ honoring life/testimony
  • Agreement and support of C3 Leaders’ Statement of Faith
  • Converse intelligently and graciously about issues of faith
  • Demonstrate Christian spirituality by participating, leading, and contributing to office devotional and prayer times

 

  • Education: Highschool Diploma or Equivalent Certificate 
  • Experience: None
  • Licensure/Certification: none
  • Software and Equipment Used: Microsoft Office 365 Suite.

 

  • Other Considerations:
  • Highly organized, strong interpersonal and communication skills – both oral and written; keen judgment skills; high degree of professionalism
  • A warm and engaging customer first attitude and demeanor  
  • Able to manage multiple and changing priorities, while remaining goal oriented 
  • Able to keep and manage records in an orderly manner.  
  • Willing to be held accountable regularly to SMART goals. 
  • Able to work collaboratively with supervisor, coworkers, and donors. 
  • Ability to Proofread documents and materials.
