The C3 Leaders devotion is a peer weekly reflection from business leaders related to their journey with Christ. Each weekly devotion will be written by a different author from among the C3 Leaders community, 52 unique authors to be exact.
As we go through this next year together, we pray that these words and reflections will encourage you in your relationship with Jesus Christ.

After leaving Google, which was an interesting journey, I began to reflect more and more on what mattered in terms of a skill set directly related to my relationship with God. At the end of the day, the most important thing was clear: learning to lead as Jesus lead is hearing God’s voice and being obedient to it. He gives a lot of grace with a wide margin error to function within. No, we don’t usually have ‘Aha moments with lightening striking twice in the same place’. Its that grace that allows us to get to where we need to be.
For leaders, principles are key. When all is said and done, living by principle is fundamental in determining how we can be spiritually correct in decision making. These principles include the principles of Christ: Serving others as opposed to expecting to be served. Loving God with all your heart, mind and soul and loving others. Those guidelines cover it all. If you look at the life of Christ, that’s what worked. It’s simple!
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”
Psalm 37:4
