Last week the 23-Gold-Medal Olympian, Michael Phelps, posted a note on Kevin Rindal’s Facebook page, wishing Kevin’s son, Logan, a happy 4th birthday. Why would one of the most famous men on the planet, in the middle of one of the most significant weeks in his life, take the time to celebrate Kevin’s
son? Because Kevin, owner and CEO of InHealth Sports Injury and Performance clinic near the U District in Seattle, is “one of the four people Michael trusts” to keep him at peak performance.
Through his successful InHealth business, Kevin has had an impact on a growing list of top athletes: college and professional teams, Ironman participants, black belt martial arts experts…the list goes on. And most recently (which Kevin acknowledges as one of the greatest honors of his decorated life) he was selected to travel with the U.S. Olympic swim team to Rio for the 2016 Summer Games. Kevin said of this selection, “I look forward to representing the USA, and caring for these athletes who have earned a spot on the Olympic team after dedicating so much time and effort to grow and develop as athletes during the past five to six years that I’ve been able to travel with the team.”
Through his participation in the Games, Kevin has quickly become a national figure. Besides catching him in the background on many Olympic telecasts, he has been recently quoted in the New York Times and ESPN publications (Kevin Rindal NYTimes Quote; Kevin Rindal ESPN Quote) and featured in a news report on NBC’s Olympics website concerning his involvement with Nathan Adrian, who recently anchored the historic 4X100 medley (perhaps Michael Phelp’s last Olympic race) in which the U.S. won yet another Gold (NBC News Report).
Kevin and his wife, Dana (a trained physical therapist) joined C3 Leaders last fall. Dana tells us that Kevin’s C3 Forum — and Forum Chair Rick Carter – have already had a significant impact on his life, finding close friends and being encouraged in his calling in the community. She finds her Forum, chaired by Laila Sharpe, enriching and vital in her life as well.
Kevin’s company, InHealth Seattle, brings an innovative approach to prevention, performance and treatment for its patients, including many high-performance athletes. Check out his Facebook page for all the rave reviews:https://www.facebook.com/kevin.rindal.1
