Are you struggling with the Peter Principle?

LaurencStrugglee Peter coined the phrase the “Peter Principle” when he noted the concept of managers being promoted to the level of their incompetency.  Peter wrote the book The Peter Principle: Why Things Always Go Wrong.

The good news is that Laurence Peter’s book is not the Peter Principle you have been called to. Jesus had a Peter Principle too. He called Peter to feed his lambs, love his lambs, and feed his sheep. This is what you are doing and this is a high calling!

When you care for your employees, customers, neighbors, and family, you are shepherding their lives. You are carrying out the best promotion ever given to a person by Jesus… Shepherd well!  — Jon Sharpe
